BOSS Power Golf 2017

Hello everyone, it has been a while since my last post. I am going to start posting a weekly blog as to what is going on in the sport of Long Drive. I will also be posting inspirational messages and quotes from time to time. They will usually be something of my making. For those of you who know me it’s good to be back. For those of you that don’t know me, I look forward to sharing with you and keeping you informed on what’s happening in our amazing sport of Long Drive/Power Golf.

In the last few years the sport of Long Drive, now owned by the Golf Channel, has taken off. Last year was the first year of the awakening of the sport of Long Drive. With the support and backing of the Golf Channel as well as many other venues the big names in the sport are finally getting the recognition they deserve. It’s also giving exposure to many guys within the top 50 in the world.

In years past most people thought that Long Drivers were just a bunch of freaks that could smash golf balls and chug beers that couldn’t play golf worth a damn. But now with the new added exposure and more talented athletes coming into the sport each year people are starting to realize the potential of these men and women. Not only can they smash golf balls over 400 yards but most of them have a single digit handicap as well. Long Drivers are the most underrated athletes in the world. No one in any other professional sport can do what a Professional Long Driver can do. They are the UFC/X-Games of golf. The titans.

Just the sheer amount of raw power mixed with speed, balance, agility, hand-eye coordination, etc. that it takes to do what a Long Driver can do is mind boggling. Club head speeds of 140 mph to 150 mph(leading PGA Pro is 128 mph). Ball speeds coming off the driver at over 200 mph and reaching up to 225 mph. Doing that all while hitting a small white ball in the dead center of the club head to reach maximum launch angle, spin rates, etc. LMAO I’d like to see anyone of any other professional sport try to pull that off.

With love to all my long drive brothers and sisters out there as well as all of the fans. This is the first post of many.
